On Wednesday morning, Maryland Democratic Rep. Jamie Raskin tore into Attorney General Pam Bondi, who was scheduled to appear before the House Judiciary Committee to discuss Department of Justice oversight. This testimony comes several weeks following the Trump administration’s release of its last batch of documents concerning Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted sex offender.
Raskin isn’t playing around, after all, when he searched Donald J. Trump’s name in the unredacted Epstein files the previous day, the president’s name came up “more than a million times.” Bondi has been shielding the president from the biggest cover-up in American history.
‘You’re not showing a lot of interest in the victims, Madam Attorney General, whether it’s Epstein’s human trafficking ring or the homicidal governmental violence against citizens in Minneapolis,” Raskin said. “As Attorney General, you’re siding with the perpetrators, and you’re ignoring the victims.”
“That will be your legacy unless you act quickly to change course,” he continued. “You’re running a massive Epstein cover-up right out of the Department of Justice.”
