Yesterday SCOTUS rejected a bid by California GOPers to block the new congressional map, which was also endorsed by voters. Their refusal to overturn the map allows the state to move forward with a map enacted by Proposition 50,. The map is expected to resulted in an additional five Democratic seats. Boo hoo!
The map change was backed by Gov. Gavin Newsom and the Dems after efforts by Texas and other Republican-led states to redraw their own maps at El Trumpo’s urging.
