TAG Heuer Expands Carrera Collection With Three Bold New 2026 Models … from Maxim Beau Hayhoe

There’s no rest for the weary, at least not as far as the world of high-end luxury and sport horology is concerned: Three new, ultra-premium updates to the famed Tag Heuer Carrera roster mark the Swiss watchmaker’s initial foray into 2026 timekeeping on the heels of LVMH Watch Week and Dubai Watch Week.

Leading the pack is the bold and visually striking Tag Heuer Carrera Chronograph in three colors, plus the perfect blend of form and function via the first-of-its-kind Carrera Split-Seconds Chronograph. In a change of pace, the elegant and yet adventure-minded Carrera Seafarer takes the iconic, road-ready watchmaker to the deep blue sea in refined fashion, with all-new inner detailing.

The focus on chronograph watches follows the company’s 2026 vision and carries on the legacy of Jack Heuer, especially with its glassbox design alongside a fine-brushed, polished steel case vis a vis the handsome Tag Heuer Carrera Chronograph.

Paired with a chic, seven-row steel bracelet that nods to the classic “beads of rice” look, the Carrera Chrono is powered by the company’s in-house TH20-01 movement featuring an 80-hour power reserve. Red accents on the black dial edition pay homage to the company’s legendary racing roots, while the horologist also nods to its famed teal and blue colorways in two other fresh Carrera Chrono releases.

The Split-Seconds Chronograph, priced at a princely $127,000 takes its internal cues from the Tag Heuer Monaco Split-Seconds release, using the company’s retooledTH81-01 movement inside a Grade 5 titanium fine-brushed, polished steel case. More than 10 hand-finished techniques round out the utterly impressive movement, and the watchmaker notes that the look and feel of the movement itself is crafted to “reinforce the identity of TAG Heuer through its silhouette.” One might say that mission is accomplished in impossibly precise fashion.

As Robb Report notes, a new version of the iconic Tag Heuer Monaco also joins the illustrious roster, showcasing why its precision and functionality was prized by the likes of eternally stylish actor Steve McQueen decades ago and remains very much en vogue today.

The Seafarer edition of the Carrera delivers another level of appealing functionality and fashion to an already lauded lineup, billed as a groundbreaking “follow up to TAG Heuer’s triumphant return to the world of sailing in 2023” with the release of its retooled Skipper timepiece.

The Tag Heuer Carrera Seafarer boasts bells and whistles aplenty, including ‘Intrepid Teal’  accents on a theopalin champagne dial, plus an 80-hour power reserve within the company’s new in-house TH20-04 tide indicator caliber movement. Priced at $8,800, it’s perhaps the most noteworthy of an elegant-yet-useful suite of new watches from a company that drives home the idea that the best is yet to come in terms of Tag Heuer horology.
