Andrea Aguilar, president of AMA Consulting Corp. (AMA Consulting Corp.)

El Salvador has become the first country to bring the Maxim franchise back to Latin America, marking a significant expansion for the world’s greatest men’s luxury lifestyle brand into the region.

The move establishes El Salvador as a strategic hub for the brand’s media, entertainment, and lifestyle operations, with initial growth efforts directed toward Guatemala and Colombia.

Andrea Aguilar, president of AMA Consulting Corp., will lead the expansion. Her firm is responsible for managing the franchise and overseeing a regional strategy that seeks to capitalize on El Salvador’s growing reputation as a center for innovation and entrepreneurship.

“El Salvador is consolidating itself as the strategic hub for regional expansion,” Aguilar said. “Our country’s vision can inspire other Latin American markets to join this movement.”

The franchise will focus on a variety of modern verticals pertaining to men’s lifestyle, including fitness, technology, entertainment, gaming, travel, celebrities, and gastronomy.

Maxim Latin America plans to produce exclusive regional content, including interviews and editorial photography featuring internationally recognized figures.

Following the initial launch in El Salvador, Guatemala, and Colombia, the company intends to extend its presence to additional Latin American countries in a second phase of development.

The Maxim deal reaffirms El Salvador’s position in the contemporary media landscape, reflecting a broader national effort to attract international investment and global franchises.
