‘The White Lotus’ Season 4 Will Be Filmed At This Luxe Saint-Tropez Hotel … from Maxim Beau Hayhoe

After months of fervent speculation, the fourth season of Emmy-winning HBO series The White Lotus is officially heading to Saint Tropez, and the setting couldn’t be more eye-catching.

For the first time, the buzzy show tracking the pitfalls and pratfalls of its wealthy visitors won’t focus on a property under the Four Seasons umbrella. Instead, season four of the series centers around the Château de la Messardière, an Airelles hospitality property.

The series, which has seen the likes of Aimee Lou Wood, Sydney Sweeney and Alexandra Daddario grace the screen in past seasons, notably tends to provide a tourism bump to its filming region of choice, best seen on the heels of season three’s exotic Thailand setting. About those casting rumors: Surprises tend to abound, like the scintillating choice of casting Blackpink superstar Lalisa Manobal in season three.

Casting for the series was underway as of last fall, along with writing by show creator Mike White, with France leading a pack of rumored contenders for the show’s next luxurious locales. With season three boasting an ensemble cast of stunning leading ladies, expect the French Riviera to deliver an utterly gorgeous backdrop in more ways than one.

With production set to kick off this coming April, few details are available about the cast or its prospects, but the Château de la Messardière is already listed online as temporarily closed. Once the hit series returns, place your bets as to how difficult it might be to secure a covetable room at the luxury hotel.

The Four Seasons Koh Samui was among a quartet of hotels delivering an intriguing and lavish Thailand backdrop in season three, and expectations are understandably high for the ultra-premium look and feel of the Château de la Messardière.

The centerpiece property (with excursions to Paris rumored for the show) is a five-star hotel set above the city’s bustling port. It was once a 19th-century château and palace before falling into disrepair prior to its 1989 restoration by French architect  Jean-Claude Rochette. For prospective guests (and stars of the next season of the hit series), pleasures include Rolls-Royce transfers, fine dining and prime access to Saint Tropez nightlife: Luxury at every turn awaits in The White Lotus season four.
