AstraZeneca Advances Intelligent Customer Engagement with Agentforce Life Sciences

AstraZeneca is expanding its partnership with Salesforce to usher in a new phase of intelligent, data-driven customer engagement powered by Agentforce Life Sciences. The collaboration is designed to deepen customer relationships, streamline operations, and strengthen the organization’s ability to focus on strategic outcomes that directly support patient and provider needs.

Under this broadened remit, Salesforce will deploy Agentforce 360 for Life Sciences as AstraZeneca’s unified global engagement platform. The solution will integrate medical and commercial insights to give teams shared context around healthcare professionals, improving coordination and closing information gaps across functions. It will also enable highly personalized engagement at scale, guiding key account, reimbursement, and field teams with next-best actions while automating digital campaigns across multiple channels in line with customer preferences.

AstraZeneca will further extend its composable architecture through Salesforce’s Agent Fabric and Model Context Protocol (MCP), allowing internal teams and AI agents to operate cohesively across brands, markets, and workflows. This interoperability will help orchestrate both human and machine actions across field engagement and commercial operations, building a more adaptive and intelligence-driven engagement model.
