Streamlined AI Documentation Enhances Care Delivery at UI Health
In outlining the value of its AI-driven documentation platform, UI Health underscores its commitment to solutions that elevate both the clinician and patient experience. Dr. David Chestek, Associate Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine and Chief Medical Information Officer, noted that the institution’s priority is deploying technologies that reduce administrative strain on clinicians while strengthening communication and experience for its diverse patient community.
Building on insights from an earlier pilot, UI Health reported a notable six-point improvement on Press Ganey scores—rising from 91% to 97%—specifically on the measure assessing whether providers “explained in a way you understand.”
By integrating directly into Epic Systems, Abridge provides an intuitive interface that can be rapidly scaled across departments. This ensures compliant, consistent use of AI-powered documentation, supports efficient workflows, and enables broader systemwide adoption.
