In a famous I Love Lucy episode called “Lucy Does A TV Commercial,” the titular character wants to get into show business like her husband, and wrangles her way onto a commercial for a new diet supplement that, unknown to her, has a fair amount of alcohol content.
If you haven’t seen it in a while, it’s comedy gold.
“It’s so tasty too! It tastes like candy, honest.”
