Dropkick Murphys are releasing the anti-I.C.E. song “Citizen I.C.E.” as part of a new tour-only split LP with fellow Boston band Haywire titled New England Forever.
“Citizen I.C.E.” is a reworking of the Dropkick’s 2005 song “Citizen C.I.A.” Performed live during the band’s Fall 2025 European tour, the reworking melds the original’s surging arrangement with lyrics that don’t pull punches: “Too scared to join the military/ Too dumb to be a cop/ Citizen I.C.E.”
