Hublot and veteran fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto have reunited to release the Classic Fusion All Black Camo, a limited-edition watch that marks the fourth collaboration between the two brands since 2020.
The blacked-out watch model marks the first time the duo has collaborated on the Classic Fusion silhouette. This specific edition features a 42mm case crafted from microblasted matte black ceramic, a material choice that allows the watch to absorb light and sculpt depth in sleek, minimalist style.
Central to the design is a monochrome camouflage pattern that appears as a relief on the dial. The black-on-black aesthetic utilizes shifting contrasts of grey and black printing to create a sense of movement and rhythm that changes under different lighting conditions. Yamamoto, who debuted his groundbreaking “anti-fashion” silhouettes in Paris in 1981, described why he chose the blackened camouflage design in a statement shared by Hublot.
“Black is modest and confident at the same time,” Yamamoto said. “With Hublot, we share a vision to transform time and fabric into expression. Our limited edition, through the use of camouflage, celebrates versatility; it adapts, evolves, and defines its own narrative.”
The watch is powered by Hublot’s MHUB1110 self-winding movement, which comprises 177 components and offers a power reserve of approximately 48 hours. A smoked sapphire caseback provides a view of the skeletonized rotor while maintaining the darkly mysterious theme of the piece. The strap further integrates high fashion and technical watchmaking, fusing black fabric with a black rubber base.
The Classic Fusion Yohji Yamamoto All Black Camo is limited to just 300 pieces worldwide. Each unit comes in a custom All Black presentation box featuring the designer’s signature. The watch is available now at select Hublot boutiques and online, with pricing set at $12,100.
