Sydney Sweeney has shot down a pesky myth about her famously curvaceous appearance. On Vanity Fair’s YouTube series featuring celebrities wired into lie detectors, Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried—who co-star in the upcoming psychological thriller The Housemaid—took turns asking each other increasingly tough questions. The segment culminated with Seyfried’s final question to Sweeney.

“There’s been a question on everybody’s minds recently, and I just have to ask, are your boobs real?” Seyfried asked. “Yes,” Sweeney said while laughing. “I’ve never gotten any work done anywhere.”

Aside from the legitimacy of Sweeney’s endowment, Seyfried also inquired about whether Sweeney read the book on which The Housemaid is based before being cast (“No”); if she’d ever adapt any of fan-fiction stories through her production company. Fifty-Fifty Films (“Sure”); and if she’s a fan of the Rolling Stones, seeing as she starred in the music video for their 2023 single, “Angry” (“Yes,” but she can’t name any songs).

Sweeney evidently only lied about one topic. When asked if, as a non-coffee drinker, she thinks she’s better than coffee drinkers, her “no” was flagged as deceptive by the proctor, as were her negative responses to whether she thinks eight hours of sleep is too much or that she’s more disciplined that others.

The actresses’ upcoming movie, an adaptation of Freida McFadden’s bestselling novel, features Sweeney as Millie, a young woman who takes nightmarish job as a live-in housemaid for the wealthy Winchester family, the matriarch of which is played by Seyfried. According to the movie’s website, the dream gig spirals “into a sexy, seductive game of secrets and power—with shocking twists that keep you guessing to the end.”
