Outside’s massive celebration of outdoor culture and community is coming back to downtown Denver for year three—and it’s bigger than ever. The annual gathering, Outside Days, with presenting sponsors Capital One and REI Co-op, has added a third day of music and will feature headliners Death Cab for Cutie, My Morning Jacket, Cage The Elephant, Tash Sultana, Goth Babe, Japanese Breakfast, The Flaming Lips, Dawes, and more.
The event, previously known as the Outside Festival and Summit, will once again include a unique mix of musical performances, adventure films, and conversations with elite athletes, explorers, and storytellers, plus a wide range of experiences crafted to inspire attendees to reconnect with the outdoors and each other.

The Outside Days industry conference, which begins on Thursday, May 28, includes the third year of the Outside Summit, a networking and thought leadership gathering for outdoor professionals, and year two of Outside Ignite, a startup pitch competition that brings together founders and investors. There are also two new tracks for 2026: Attract, for innovators across the travel industry, and Endure, for endurance race directors and event organizers.

The event was founded in 2024 and quickly became so much more than a music festival—Outside Days is at the heart of a rising cultural movement to get everyone outside. Over its first two years, the festival drew more than 50,000 attendees, spurring it to be labeled the “SXSW of the outdoors.” For 2026, Outside Days is moving a short distance to a new location, Denver’s Auraria Campus, where organizers are expecting more than 35,000 attendees.
