Despite the appointment of Matthieu Blazy as Chanel creative director in December 2024, there are still zero signs of change at the fabled French fashion house (not until Blazy’s official runway debut come September, at least). The powers at Chanel HQ remain loyal to a select few when it comes to capturing the brand’s advertising campaigns – including Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin. The Dutch photographic duo has captured an array of campaigns post-Virginie Viard‘s abrupt exit. As a result, it comes as no surprise to see the creative twosome shoot the Chanel Coco Beach campaign for 2025. The Chanel regulars ventured to the ultra-glamorous French resort town of St. Tropez for the occasion, complete with model Angelina Kendall posing poolside throughout the sun-drenched campaign imagery.
